Highcliffe Castle was built between 1831 and 1835 by Lord Stuart de Rothesay and is a Grade I listed building, Highcliffe Castle is a classic example of the Romantic and Picturesque style of architecture and incorporates beautiful medieval stone work and stained glass from France and various locations.
Highcliffe Castle is a great venue for various concerts and outdoor events which are held throughout the year, both the tea rooms and the cliff top grounds are open all year round, the cliff top grounds are free to visit, admission to the castle is £2.60 for Adults and free for children under 16. Highcliffe Castle and it's grounds are fully accessible for wheelchair users and is open daily between 11am - 5pm, on weekdays last admission is 4.30pm and 4.00pm at weekends.
